Corrections Policy

The KF Menu publishes reference data, so errors are inevitable; hiding them would be the real failure. The policy is short and it is followed.

The process

  1. Report. Any reader can flag an error through the contact page: the item, what the site says, what you saw, and a photo of the menu board or app screen if you have one.
  2. Verify. The claim is checked against the official source: the nutrition guide for a figure, the app or website for a price, KFC’s own statements for availability.
  3. Fix and date. A confirmed error is corrected on the page and the page’s review date is updated.
  4. Log. A price correction appears on the public price change log with the old figure, the new figure and the date. A material error keeps a short note on the corrected page.

What counts as an error

A figure that does not match the official source on the date it was reviewed is an error. A reference price that differs from your restaurant’s price is not, because franchise operators set final prices; the page states the national reference and the app shows the local figure. A reference figure marked as such (the ◐ REF. mark) is by definition not yet verified against the official source; reports against those figures go to the front of the verification queue.

Availability

When an item leaves the national menu, its page is marked as not on the current national menu rather than removed, with the last listed price and full nutrition. If you find an item marked as current that a restaurant no longer sells, or the reverse, that is a report the site wants.
