KFC Order Calculator
Tap your order together and watch the arithmetic happen: total price, total calories, and sodium measured live against the 2,300 mg daily line; the number the rest of the internet’s menus never add up for you. Every item is the same audited reference the whole site runs on, and every row links to its full record.
Family buckets sit this page out deliberately: they carry honest ranges, not single figures, and their per-head math lives on their own pages. For a straight sorted list instead, the calorie table has every count; the protein ranking finds the strongest order for the money.

Single-serving items with published counts. Family buckets don't tally here on purpose: they carry ranges, not single figures, and their per-head math lives on their own pages. Prices are the national reference on the audit date.
Four worked orders
| Order | What is in it | Price | Calories | Protein | Sodium |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A light lunch | Chicken Tender Snacker and Green Beans and water | $5.79 | 430 | 19 g | 1,410 mg (61%) |
| A full dinner for one | 3 pc. Tenders, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy and Buttery Buttermilk Biscuit and a Pepsi Zero Sugar | $10.07 | 700 | 41 g | 2,140 mg (93%) |
| Two people | Classic Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Secret Recipe Fries and Cole Slaw | $17.26 | 1,760 | 73 g | 4,380 mg (190%) |
| A table of four, built from pieces | Chicken Breast, Chicken Thigh, Chicken Drumstick, Chicken Drumstick, Mac and Cheese, Whole Kernel Corn, Buttery Buttermilk Biscuit and Buttery Buttermilk Biscuit | $23.52 | 1,500 | 95 g | 4,610 mg (200%) |
Built from the same figures the calculator uses. The four-person order from pieces costs $23.52; the $20.00 Build-A-Bucket carries eight pieces, four sides and four biscuits for less.
Where the calculator stops and the family board starts
Once an order passes about $20.00, a family format is almost always cheaper than the same food assembled by the item: the 16 pc. Tenders Meal at $4.00 a head and the $20 Build-A-Bucket at $5.00 a head are the floors. The meal prices page ranks every format per head and the family meals board lists what each one carries.
How to build an order under a budget
- Set the number. Price, calories or sodium; the meter shows all three, but one decides the order.
- Start with the main. Pieces and tenders carry the protein; sandwiches and bowls carry the convenience.
- Add one side, then check. A side adds $2.79 to $3.89; the calorie and sodium columns move more than the price.
- Take water or a zero drink. The price of a fountain drink is $2.99 and its calories are 120 to 250; zero-sugar sodas cost the same and add nothing.
- Compare against the combo. A combo’s drink is about $1.99 inside the bundle; if the à la carte total beats the combo, order à la carte.

KFC Order Calculator FAQs
How accurate are the calculator's totals?
They sum the same audited reference figures every item page carries: national app pricing and official-guide nutrition, dated on each page's source slip. Franchise price spread of about a dollar applies.
Why does sodium get its own meter?
Because it's the number that crosses its daily line first, many single combos pass 100% alone. The meter turns red at a full day's 2,300 mg.
Can I build a bucket order here?
Singles only: buckets carry calorie ranges, not fixed counts, so their pages do per-head math instead of pretending one number.
Do combo items double-count the drink?
Combos here are complete builds including their standard medium drink: add a drink row only for à la carte items.
Does my order save anywhere?
No, nothing is stored, nothing leaves the page. Rebuild it fresh next visit; the prices will be current either way.
What's a reasonable calorie target for one meal?
Most guidance puts a meal at 500 to 700 calories on a 2,000-a-day frame: the calculator just does the math and leaves the target to you.
How much is a KFC dinner for one?
About $10.07 for three tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy, a biscuit and a zero-sugar drink, 700 calories; the $5.99 Fill Up is the boxed version with dessert.
Can I add up a family order?
Piece by piece, yes, as the four-person worked order shows; family formats carry ranges rather than single figures, so they are priced per head on their own pages instead.
