What the points are actually worth
At 10 points a dollar, a redemption’s value is the counter price of the item divided by the points it costs. The Vault prices rotate, so this page holds the method rather than a fixed table: a free 8-piece nuggets at $5.49 or a free Classic Chicken Sandwich at $5.49 redeemed for the points from a hundred dollars of orders returns about 5 percent; a free biscuit at $1.29 for the same points returns a fraction of that. The rule that follows: bank points for meal-tier items and let the small rewards pass. Vault rotations and bonus-point challenges are where the program is briefly generous; the discipline is having a balance when they land.

How to join and use it
- Install the app or open kfc.com. The app guide covers the install; the account is the same on both.
- Create the account. Email, password and a phone number; the Rewards tab appears once you are signed in.
- Order through the app or kfc.com. Points post automatically on eligible orders placed while signed in. Orders placed on delivery platforms are not KFC orders and do not earn.
- Check the Rewards tab before ordering. Offers and challenges sit there; an attach deal or a bonus-point challenge often beats the points themselves.
- Redeem on meal-tier items. Choose a reward, add it to an order, and the app takes the item off the total at checkout.
- Read the expiry rule once. The terms in the app state when unused points lapse; keep the balance moving rather than parking it.

A loyalty program is an exchange: order history and a phone on your account for offers and points. At any real ordering frequency the exchange favors the customer, because the app-only offers alone are the best standing discounts on the board. Below monthly ordering, the points never reach a meal-tier reward and the program is mostly notifications. The one rule from this page: never let a four-figure balance sit through a Vault rotation unspent.
