KFC Chicken Tenders Feast: Price & What’s In It
The Chicken Tenders Feast is the board's hybrid: six pieces of bone-in chicken plus six Original Recipe tenders, two large sides and three dipping sauces for $44.99, about $9 a head across five people, and the only family bundle that feeds the bone camp and the boneless camp from one box. It cycles regionally under the older Family Feast with Tenders name, so both appear on this page.

Fact checkWhy other sites disagree about this item
Double-category listing chaos: aggregators file this feast under family meals at one price and under tenders at another, some quote it at the tenders meal's $26.99, others invent a $49.99 by summing components, and most still print an eight-piece build with three sides and six biscuits. The current listing is six bone-in pieces, six Original Recipe tenders, two large sides and three dipping sauces. One build, one reference, dated above.

The sodium lineWhere each plate’s sodium lands
About 2,270 mg per head across five: chicken, tenders and a typical side mix. Tenders brine leaner than thighs and breasts, so the hybrid runs a shade lighter per piece than an all-bone-in bucket, but two large sides split five ways are where most of the day's allowance goes.

What is in a Chicken Tenders Feast?
A diplomatic instrument with sides: the 8-piece meal‘s bone-in core trimmed to six pieces, the tenders meal‘s boneless answer at six Original Recipe tenders, welded, with two large sides and three dipping sauces. Every other family format makes the table pick a side; this one seats the thigh loyalists and the tender-only teenagers at the same dinner without a negotiation phase. It sold for years as the Family Feast with Tenders and still does in some regions; the current listing is the Chicken Tenders Feast.
How it is made
Bone-in from the batch cycle, tenders from the drawer, two larges chosen at order, three sauce cups in the lid. The tenders ride their own sleeve; a fourth cup is the usual free ask when the boneless camp is the bigger one. Biscuits are not in the current build, which is the detail most tables notice second.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
Mixed tables, which is most tables: households where “bucket night” triggers a format debate, gatherings with kids, the five-person dinner that would otherwise become two separate orders. Uniform tables should skip the premium: all-bone-in eats cheaper via the 12-piece meal, all-boneless via the tenders meal, and the $20 Build-A-Bucket feeds four for less than half the money if dark meat or tenders alone will do.
Is it worth the price?
About $9 a head to end the bones-versus-tenders argument: the premium is real and it buys peace. Against the meal tier’s $6.67 to $7.50 cluster this runs a dollar and a half a head dear, which is the hybrid tax stated honestly, and the current build carries no biscuits to soften it. It computes as the right buy exactly when a uniform order would leave two seats eating grudgingly; the 8 pc. Chicken Only bucket plus an 8 pc. tenders box is the cheaper way to feed both camps if nobody needs the sides.
Order hacks
- Three dipping sauces ride in the box; ask for a fourth at order if the tender camp outnumbers the bone camp, most stores comp it.
- Declare the split at serving: pieces to the bone side, tenders to the kids, before the fast hands settle it politically.
- Two larges: mash and slaw is the spread that serves both camps’ dipping and dolloping habits; corn if there are children.
- Biscuits are not in the current build. Add four à la carte at $1.29 each if the table expects them.
- Compare before ordering two formats separately: the 8 pc. Chicken Only bucket plus an 8 pc. tenders box runs about $13 less for more chicken and no sides.
