KFC Dinner Menu: Every Family Format by Headcount, Priced Per Head
KFC serves the same menu at dinner as at lunch, at the same prices, until close. What changes in the evening is the shape of the order: dinner is when the family formats do their work, and the honest dinner menu is the family board measured per head. For four, the $10 Popcorn Chicken Bucket at $2.50 a head is the floor; for eight, the 16 pc. Tenders Meal at $4.00 a head is the lowest per-head price on the whole menu. Every format is below, sorted by the number of people it feeds, with calories and sodium per head from the component figures.
Dinner by headcount
Cheapest per head first inside each headcount. The formats are built to feed the number shown; a table with two teenagers and a toddler is not a table of three, and the family board pages say what each format carries piece by piece.

Chicken only, sides from the board
The buckets and packs are cheaper per head because nothing but chicken is in them; add sides at $2.79 to $3.89 an individual portion or take the $20.00 Build-A-Bucket, which bundles four.

Calories and sodium per head
A family meal has no single serving, so each format’s page splits the whole order by head using the component figures. The per-head figures below are those splits, which is the number that matters when a bucket is dinner rather than a snack.

Dinner for one
The single-serving formats that are a full dinner rather than a lunch: 900 calories and up, cheapest first. The Fill Ups carry a drink and a dessert; the boxes carry a drink; the combos carry a drink and one side.

The weekday bucket at dinner
On a weekday the $10 Bucket of the Day is the cheapest chicken of the evening: eight drums and thighs on Tuesday or eight tenders on Thursday at $1.25 a piece, 24 nuggets on Monday and Friday, ten wings on Wednesday. It is chicken only. With the $10 add-on (two large sides and four biscuits) it becomes a $20 dinner for four, which is the same money as the $20 Build-A-Bucket that runs every day with four sides instead of two; the bucket page prices both routes.
The evening kitchen
The dinner rush runs about 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and produces the freshest bone-in batches of the evening, because the fryers never stop. An order placed ahead in the app is ready when the batch lands rather than after the line. In the last hour before close the bone-in choice narrows to the final batch while tenders, nuggets and sandwiches still fry to order; the hours page has closing times by city. Delivery is marked up hardest at the dinner peak, when platform prices run 15 to 35 percent above the counter before fees; the delivery page measures it on real orders, and pickup ordered in the app is the cheaper route.
Dinner add-ons, priced

| Mashed Potatoes with Gravy | $2.79 | The side most tables run out of first |
| Cole Slaw | $2.79 | The lightest side on sodium at 180 mg |
| Whole Kernel Corn | $2.79 | No sodium, no declared allergens |
| Gravy Dip Cup | $0.99 | Gravy for a table that ordered plain sides |
| 4 Cookies | $4.99 | Dessert for four at $1.25 each |
| Bottled Water | $2.19 | Or tap water; a fountain drink is $2.99 and 120 to 250 calories |
